On
7 September 2008 Ross Sheridan, Assistant Manager at
Crown Reach (a
block of flats on the Thames) received a call that no
parent could imagine or should receive, Karen Louise (pictured right) his 26
year old daughter had been found dead in her apartment.
Karen was 10 when she suffered her first epileptic seizure and it was
shortly after that that she was diagnosed with
Grand Mal epilepsy.
Like most
parents who find themselves in this position he searched for things that he
should have done but never got round to doing.
At the back page of one of Karen’s diaries was a Wish List. One of the
wishes was for a Seizure Alert Dog. It was then that Ross began to write the
play ’Karen’s Wishes’.
With the support of the residents of
Crown Reach, the help of a professional scriptwriter, a leading West End
director and a producer, a Charity Evening, with a short introductory talk
from ROLF HARRIS, will take place on Monday 1 November 2010.
The evening's entertainment is as
