Employee Fundraising is one of the most fun ways in
which your company can help Support Dogs. By encouraging employee
participation in such activities you can help enhance your employee
morale and retention.
You may wish to organise a one-off
fundraising activity or an ongoing series of activities/events.
Past examples include:
Sponsored events, quiz nights,
cake sales, raffles, dinners & luncheons, and team building
days.

Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving is a very
simple way for your employees to help Support Dogs, particularly if
you have a busy, demanding job and very little time to offer to
charity. It also demonstrates your company’s commitment to social
responsibility and concern for good causes; generates positive
publicity and helps to enhance staff productivity and
retention.
Payroll Giving provides Support Dogs with a
regular, sustainable and long term income stream, thus allowing us
to plan future training programmes with confidence.
Donations/Gifts in Kind By donating goods your
company can help us to keep our running costs to a minimum. In the
past, we have been grateful to receive many goods from electric
kettles to microwaves, washing machines to sofas, office equipment
to stationary.
Many companies have also donated prizes for
raffles and auctions which is another excellent way of helping to
keep the costs down and maximising the proceeds from the events we
organize. Typical examples include champagne, wine, hampers,
holidays, televisions and many many
more.
Recycling Millions of inkjet and laser
printer cartridges, and old mobile phones are thrown away every year
that could raise thousands of pounds of possible funds for Support
Dogs.
In partnership with Reclaim It - a leading Electronic
Waste company, Support Dogs can receive up to £6.00 for every
cartridge returned and up to £45 for old phones and in so doing your
company and its employees can help us to continue our good work
whilst at the same time helping the environment by reducing the need
for more landfill sites and the drainage of natural
resources.
Charity of the Year Support Dogs can
work with you to ensure that both your company and Support Dogs gain
maximum benefit from this great opportunity. This may include many
different fundraising activities from employee fundraising to
sponsorship to ensure that we both have a year to remember. With
2008 is set to be the Year of the Assistance Dog, there is no better
year to celebrate with us.
